QFT, you get new guilds with claims to fame for one reason or another every day. Well established guilds that have been alive and kicking for 3 years are few and far in between.

Anybody knows what happened with a lot of the above mentioned guilds?
For example Esoteric Warriors left suddenly from the Guild Ladder. Why? What happened?
I remember the glorious days of EvIL, WM and EW but most are gone or split I suppose.
There should be some news forum or magazine with info about the top 20 guilds. That would be fun.

Some quit GuildWars because there are no RL-prices. Others quit because the game is no fun anymore. And you have those that found other games interesting and leave the team which reforms several times.

You can still find players who played in good guilds a few years ago but they are playing in smurf guilds or reforms of several good guilds.

If you really want a news magazine on the top 20 guilds:

R20 [BadV] is a smurf used by goldcape players that own [sup]

R2, R3, R5. R7, R8, R9, R16, R17, R19... Are all inactive guilds that play a match every 90 days, usualy lose it too, so everyone can see they were once good.

So yeah, considering that the top 20 owns 50 guilds in the top 100 kind of makes people sad... And that might be a reason to quit.

I would class the best guilds the ones that dont play anymore.
such as

Your Math Teachers.
I would go to bed and see them winning, wake up, see them winning, go to school, come home, see them winning, they just dominated HA.

Titanic Deck Chair Attendants.
From what i saw, one of the first organised Guilds to win HA. Purely amazing.

The Spearmen.
These group of people, were just Guild Wars pros. The builds they came up with, such as the Flesh Golem army thing (lol) was just amazing, they had to nerf it within was it 6 hours because of the sheer power of it.

I could proberly conjure up a few more, but these are proberly the best.
I dont know much for GvG, and most PvE guilds suck if you put them under high pressure tasks, but these guys DOMINATED HA
